About Me (1)

Hello! I'm Aarif, a British professional with extensive experience in editing, proofreading, “native check” work, copywriting, and Japanese-to-English translation.

I lived in Japan from 1999 until 2018, where I spent nearly two decades working across the education and PR (public relations) sectors.

My expertise is particularly strong in editing and proofreading academic documents to meet high educational standards and in performing translation and native checks for the media and marketing industries.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, I am adept at working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines and exceed expectations.

About Me (2)

In 2018, I relocated from Tokyo to Goa, India, to support my parents (who retired here from the UK) when my father became ill. I have remained here working remotely for clients in the US, UK, and Japan in a variety of roles.

Whether you need a sharp eye for detail, a creative voice for your copy, or a skilled translator familiar with industry-specific terminology, I am here to deliver precision, quality, and reliability.

Let's connect and discuss how I can contribute to the success of your next project.
